Chema Alonso is currently the Chief Digital Consumer Officer (CDCO) of Telefónica. In this role, he leads the strategy for the digitalisation of product and service sales processes and of the customer communication channels of the company. As the head of this Global Digital Consumer Unit, he also aims to promote innovation of new digital products and services as well as the generation of internal efficiency supported by the technological capacities of big data and artificial intelligence of Telefónica's fourth platform, with special focus on the digital home. With a long history in the area of innovation, he is also responsible for the innovation of Telefónica's core technologies as well as the company's relationship with the entrepreneurial ecosystem under an open cooperation model.
He is also Chairman of ElevenPaths, the cybersecurity company belonging to Telefónica Tech, which integrates the company's Cloud, IoT/Big Data and Security businesses. He holds a PhD in Computer Security from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos and a Technical Engineering degree in Computer Systems from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. The latter institution named him Honorary Ambassador of the University School of Information Technology in 2012.
Pedro Pablo Pérez has been working in the IT security sector for more than 15 years. He has participated in the implementation of global security operation centers in Spain, Latin America and the United States of America. Furthermore, he has been in charge of the new ElevenPaths cybersecurity portfolio and leads the security innovation proposal for internal and external Telefónica clients. During the last three years he has defined, designed, implemented and commercialized the Telefónica Security Portfolio within fifteen countries and three continents.
Pedro graduated in Computer Science and a Global MBA from IESE, he also has numerous security certifications such as CISA, CISM, ITIL Service Manager and ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.

Additionally, he loves to be close to the clients in order to understand their needs and to develop solutions which make their lives and businesses more secure.
Industrial Engineer from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, with more than 25 years of experience in the Technologies of Information and Communication, particularly in Business Intelligence and Information Security areas. He has participated in numerous national and international projects, having developed his entire career at Telefónica Group. Previously, he was Global Director of Platforms Development and Global Director of Products and Innovation in the Global Security Company. In this role he has been responsible for the deployment of Security Operations Centers (SOCs), having led the projects in Madrid (Spain), Miami (USA), Sao Paulo (Brazil) and Lima (Peru).
Alberto has spent 15 years working in the security field at various companies such as Sun Microsystems and Optenet. He has held various positions in the areas of pre-sales, project management and business development which has allowed him to fully understand customers’ needs from different angles. He has always worked with the international market and spent three years in the US where he developed projects for the domestic market.
He joined Telefónica in 2011 to head up the security services for consumers and in 2016 assumed responsibility for cybersecurity services for the Corporate world and SMEs.
Alberto graduated from the Comillas Pontifical University (I.C.A.I.) with a degree in IT Engineering and also holds an MBA from IEDE and an Executive Masters in Digital Business from ESADE.
His main mission is to ensure that consumers and companies alike understand and take advantage of the benefits offered by the digital revolution, and that they are familiar with digital risks and have all the necessary tools to them.
Nikolaos Tsouroulas is Global Head of Cybersecurity Product Management at ElevenPaths, Telefónica Cybersecurity Company, one of the leading carriers worldwide.
During the past 17 years he has developed his career in the Telecommunications Industry, holding various research, engineering and managerial positions in British Telecom and Telefónica, always in areas and projects that targeted the transformation of the core telco business into digital ones. His areas of experience and expertise cover mobile network optimization, mobile devices and operating systems, cloud computing, information security, mobile security, network security, threat intelligence, and cybersecurity in general.
In his current role, he is in charge of defining and developing novel cybersecurity services that go beyond the traditional perimeter-based defense paradigm, shifting the focus to prevention, detection and response. He is working on finding ways to leverage threat intelligence, data analytics and innovative security approaches within products and services that protect not only the IT infrastructure of an organization, but also the business processes and assets exposed to internet.
He holds and M.Sc. in Advanced Computer Science from Imperial College, London, and a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
David Prieto Marqués has more than 12 years of experience in IT security. Since the beginning of his career in Telefónica I+D he has developed his professional career in various security related roles, and currently leads the global proposal of managed services of security, regulatory compliance and risk analysis at Telefónica.
An Engineer from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, he is specialized in Managed Security and Security in Cloud Network and Infrastructure. He has vast experience in security projects and team management, including I+D, development, project management in a corporate field and leadership in the security field.
José Luis has always had a holistic approach to business. With extensive international experience and a strong focus on the end customer, he believes in win-win relationships.
He is currently leading the development of business with end customers within Telefónica's Cybersecurity Company (ElevenPaths), with the aim of bringing the company's security value proposition to our customers and directly supporting the most relevant opportunities with corporate customers.
For more than 20 years, Jose Luis has been linked to the IT world. He has focused on integration and software projects, always in the areas related to pre-sales and business development, specialized in the launch of new services and solutions, as well as the start of operations with integral responsibility in different countries.
Currently, Security Business Development Manager for Major Clients at Telefónica España. With more than 20 years in the world of technology and always linked to the Internet and telecommunications, he has carried out all kinds of activities including operation, engineering and development of products and services.
Dedicated to security in body and soul, Juan has been managing the SOC of Telefónica de España's Large Companies since 2008, managing the teams responsible for the operation and administration of the different security services for customers. With the experience of SOC in Spain, he started working on the implementation of SOCs in other countries of the group with the aim of developing a global model for the provision of security services.
He is currently working on the development of the security business, ensuring that the sales and revenue targets for the security products and services are met, defining, developing and securing the "Go to Market" strategy. It also works proactively in the generation of new commercial opportunities through the development and execution of demand generation actions, as well as the identification of new potential clients.
Rames Sarwat is an expert in identity management and electronic signature. He is the author of the book called "DNIe: technology and applications", and a vocal member of the sub-committees for the standardization of identification cards (SC17) and biometrics (SC37).
Before joining ElevenPaths he was CEO of SmartAccess, director of professional services subsidiary of Microsoft in Spain for Public Sector, Health and Education, and project manager at NCR where he participated in several projects related to smart cards and biometric recognition.
Pablo Alarcón has been a passionate cybersecurity professional for over 15 years, working as an electronic signature consultant (PKI), a specialist in IT security sales, marketing and business development. In addition, he has also worked at Telefónica's Global Security Unit defining the launch of managed security services in Germany, France and the UK. In recent years, he has defined the ElevenPaths Partner Program, managing the global relationship with our Strategic Allies.
Graduate in Law, MAJ by IE, and member of Working Group 2 of the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO).
Currently Sergio de los Santos is Innovation and Labs Leader at ElevenPaths, Telefónica Cybersecurity & Cloud Tech, S.L.U. From 2005 to 2013, he has been a Technical Consultant at Hispasec, the responsible for antifraud and vulnerabilities alert in the oldest security newsletter published in Spanish.
Since 2000 he has worked as an auditor and technical coordinator, has written three technical security books and one book about the history of security.
Sergio holds a degree in IT Engineering, a M.Sc. in Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence and has been awarded with Microsoft MVP Consumer Security title from 2013 to 2017. Sergio is also an assistant professor in a master of Technology and Communication Security in the University of Seville.
From May 2013 she has been working as a security analyst at ElevenPaths, which is Telefonica's cybersecurity department; after having carried out this role within companies such as S21sec and Isdefe. As well as being a collaborator of the Civil Guard’s Centre of Analysis and Forcasting, and co-author of the book 'Bitcoin: Blockchain technology and its research'.
She teaches several University postgraduate courses at the Autonomous University of Madrid and the University of Castilla la Mancha, such as intelligence analysis, security, forensic analysis, digital evidence and open sources. In addition to co-directing the Blockchain and Bitcoin Degree of Expert in Madrid’s European University.
In the technical field, she has been a speaker at events such as Blackhat (2017), Defcon (2017), 8dot8 (2015), Cybercamp (2017 y 2015), o RootedCon (2015) and among others. Finally, in 2017 she was named as cyber-cooperator of honor by INCIBE.
